WirelessMAN-Advanced System は、第4世代携帯電話システム(IMT-Advanced) の標準規格の一つで、IEEE 802.16m 規格に基づいています。別名「WiMAX Release 2」としても知られています。

It was developed to meet the requirements for IMT-Advanced (International Mobile Telecommunications-Advanced) 4G mobile networks, providing a significant boost in performance over previous generations.
